"Trapped"

"Captive"

"Longing"

"Withering away"

"Rage"

These were some of the words that were echoing in my head as I produced this - with every available medium I could use including thick quick drying mural paints, markers, pens of varying point sizes, correction liquids and a drinking straw. I felt that black and white didn't exhibit enough emotion so I decided to turn it crimson red, sorta of blood like, in Photoshop.

If you're interested in seeing the original un-tampered version, you can find it in my scrapbook.

I like how the closer to the head it is the more intense the red is when it gets nearer the head reminds me of how i feel about school an exams and perents which would be the chains holding me back. sinking deepers in to stressof everything. Thats just my opinion i spose i like though.

Argh, DA ate my comment... As I was trying to say, this is a wonderful piece, full of raw emotion. Great job, I love the way colour shifts to red, it suits the piece like nothing else would.

Another :+fav: for Shahir!
